Fort Collins has a robust and diverse cycling community, one that thrives on connection and cooperation. It also has a vibrant “share and reuse” community. On April 4, Cohere Coworking and Queer + Bikes are leaning into both of these pursuits with a free bike gear swap!

What’s happening:
From 1 to 4 pm on April 4, 2026, the Cohere Coworking space at 400 Remington St, Suite B, is hosting a free bike gear swap, organized by local cycling and community group Queer+ Bikes.
Drop off a few lightly used pieces, look through donations to add to your cycling collection, or both. A variety of cycling gear is expected and welcomed, including jerseys, shoes, socks, tires, and other cycling parts.
Who’s involved:
Queer + Bikes is a Northern Colorado-based cycling community committed to creating a safe space for queer folks and allies. Bicycle enthusiasts of all skill levels are welcome to participate in group cycling sessions and other bicycle-related events.
They are also the core group behind Joyride, a café in the making dedicated to cycling, and designed “especially for the bike-curious, women, LGBTQ+ folks, and anyone seeking connection without alcohol.”
Cohere Coworking is a friendship-based coworking community with a space on Remington Street in Old Town Fort Collins. Our focus is productivity through community; in other words, we offer not only a comfortable, well-appointed space to work, but also a supportive, collaborative group of professionals to work alongside you.
Who’s invited?
Everybody!
You don’t have to be a member of Cohere or of Queer + Bikes to participate in this free event. We’re welcoming anyone who has or can fill a cycling gear need. Bring some gear, get some gear, and make a friend or two. We can’t wait to see you here!
