Fort Collins is well known for its gorgeous landscapes, beautiful historic buildings, and fantastic food. While all those features are truly delightful, much of Fort Collins’ charm for those who live here is in the small, local touches that we learn about through exploring and sharing information with one another.

Whether you’re a seasoned local or just passing through town, the values of coworking make a coworking community the perfect place to find out more about the town you’re working in. Here are a few of our favorites:
Numerous Natural and Historic Areas
Several natural areas throughout the city preserve special habitats that harbor native plants, animals, and migrating birds. With over 114 miles of trails to explore, these delightful pockets of wilderness within the city are true treasures.
Another beautiful and beloved spot to spend a little time is the Bingham Hill Cemetery, a quaint, historic cemetery with headstones dating back to 1862.
Superb Snacking Spots
Music City Hot Chicken definitely makes the list of favorites for one of our favorite local restaurants and does a great job of catering. Their chicken and extras have added deliciousness to an event or two at Cohere.
Little Bird Bakeshop is a charming 100% scratch bakery on College Ave with amazing baked goods. In addition, they sell any day-old baked goods for half price.
Tap and Handle is another spot frequented by members of Cohere, with great burgers, fresh salads, and other tavern foods. They have regular weekday specials, a great happy hour menu that is offered two times a day most days, and half-price Smasher burgers on Wednesdays.
Nuance Chocolate offers delectable bean-to-bar chocolate roasted right here in Fort Collins. In addition to the bars of chocolate available for sale, they offer flights of different chocolates in-store, so customers can get a better idea of the differences between the types of chocolate.
Fun Neighborly Notions
Taking a walk in Fort Collins can be little more fun due to the friendly neighbors. Not only does Fort Collins have many Little Free Library’s scattered throughout town, but some of the homeowners in the neighborhoods right around Old Town have installed mini golf holes on their lawns for others to use.
Astounding Art and Book Shops
We also have a plethora of art and bookshops in Fort Collins, including some that are a little off the beaten path. Swampgas & Gossamer is a favorite that doesn’t have regular business hours but is often open for the First Friday art walk in Old Town.
Another favorite is the Perelanda Bookshop at Wolverine Farms. Not only do they have many fantastic books from local authors, they also have delicious drink offerings, and host wonderful events in their upstairs venue.
Of course, our members think one of the greatest hidden treasures in Fort Collins is Cohere Coworking, a friend-based coworking community dedicated to supporting one another.
