It has been a particularly warm June here in Fort Collins, with temperatures reaching the 90s and 100s, punctuated by a few mighty thunderstorms, and our upcoming July looks to be not much cooler. Neither heat nor rain will keep the citizens of Fort Collins from enjoying this fine city, however, and there are plenty of great places in town to help beat the heat.
Cohere is on the edge of the historic downtown area of Fort Collins, known to locals as Old Town. It has been a focal point of business and social events for more than a century, through heat, cold, wind, and rain, and we love being part of the Old Town Community.

Swimming Pools
Several fantastic swimming pools are scattered throughout the city, offering welcome relief from the summer heat. The Mulberry swimming pool, a city-run indoor pool, is particularly close by, just a short walk from the center of Old Town. *Explore our article above for more specific information!
Old Town Splash Pads
There are two splash pads to cool off at during the summer in downtown Fort Collins. One small but delightful spot at Oak Street Plaza Park, and another right in the center of Old Town Square. Both have plenty of shaded seating nearby for parents to relax while the kiddos make a splash.
Ice Cream Shops
Savoring a sweet and creamy ice cream treat is a delicious way to beat the heat. Fortunately for us, a fantastic selection of high-quality ice cream shops graces the Old Town area. Explore old favorites like Walrus Ice Cream or experience new flavors with newcomer Edison’s Ice Cream. *Explore our article above for more specific information!
