Horsetooth Half Marathon
April 13, 2020
Runners traverse a course from Hughes Stadium, the former home of the CSU Rams, to New Belgium Brewing on Linden Street. 2025 is the 52nd annual run of this surprisingly fast and challenging course. Runners can register for the half-marathon here.
FoCoMX
April 18-19
The unofficial “Biggest Little Festival in America” is back for its 17th year, showcasing over 400 Northern Colorado bands over two days, in more than 30 local venues, several in the Old Town area. Tickets for the FoCoMX, presented by the Fort Collins Musicians Association (FoCoMA), are available for purchase on the FoCoMX website.
Earth Day Fort Collins
April 19
Hosted by the Sustainable Living Association, this free event is a great opportunity for all ages to celebrate the earth. Along with informational booths and displays, this one-day event includes arts & crafts, food trucks, live music, a beer garden, and more.
Downtown Fort Collins Art Week
May 3-12
The lively Fort Collins art scene is highlighted in May, during Fort Collins Art Week. More than just a gallery show or simple art sale, this event includes uncovering hidden art throughout the downtown area, engaging in art-based workshops, and other creative ways to unleash your own inner artist.
Fort Collins Trolley
May 3 through September 28
From May 3rd through September 28th, two trolley cars traverse the journey from City Park to Old Town and back between noon and 5 PM. These historic cars are part of a history of trolley cars in Fort Collins that started over a century ago in 1907.
Annual Flower Trial Garden
Late May through October
From Late May through October, CSU’s Annual Flower Trial Garden, an outdoor horticultural display and test area, is on display near Old Town Fort Collins. This explosion of natural colors, now in its 25th year, helps to evaluate how different flowers react to the unique environmental conditions of the High Plains region—and is free to the public.
Taste of Fort Collins
June 7-8
While this annual two-day festival does indeed highlight the delicious flavors of Fort Collins, it is much more than just a taste. This event, held in Washington Park, is a smorgasbord of flavor, music, art, and entertainment.
